G.WIZ Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are the heart of our organization and their support plays a major role in the success of G.WIZ. Become a part of Sarasota’s only Science and Technology Museum.

G.WIZ is a not-for-profit Science and Technology Museum that relies heavily on the generous efforts of volunteers to provide an interactive learning experience for all of our visitors. Whenever you see G.WIZ in the community you are looking at the volunteer efforts of engineers, graphic designers, business people, scientists, and our teen volunteers.

OPPORTUNITIES TO GET INVOLVED

G.WIZ volunteers work with visitors and participate behind the scenes in order to create an enhanced program for our guests. Volunteers explain exhibits, help staff special events, answer visitors’ questions, assist with clerical tasks, help out in our Museum Store, provide simple interactive tabletop demonstrations, and much more! By contributing your time and talent, you can learn something new, teach someone else, and most of all, have fun! The success of our programs depends on the efforts of enthusiastic volunteers such as yourself.

You don't need to be a scientist to volunteer! Select a position that interests you:
