It has never been more important for America’s businesses to foster our young peoples’ interest in science, mathematics, engineering and technology. This is vital to ensure our country’s future competitive economic edge, especially with China and India poised to become science and technology powerhouses. Like everything else, the effort needs to begin at home, on a local level.

We are asking for your support as we bring exciting new exhibits such as King Tut, Saturday Happenings, Summer and Vacation Camps, School trips and other outstanding programming to the greater Sarasota Community. You have the ability to make a real difference in the development of science literacy.  

This year we have the opportunity to take advantage of a generous matching grant! That’s right! Marilyn and Irv Naiditch have generously provided us with a $50,000 matching grant that will match your donation dollar for dollar. Just think how much further your dollars will go with the help of this generous grant. There is only one catch; we need to meet this goal by December 31, 2007.

G.WIZ, the Gulfcoast Wonder and Imagination Zone, is proud to be a key player in the development and promotion of science literacy in our local area. With our extensive educational program, G.WIZ is far more than just a museum. The G.WIZ educational staff delivers classes to students on a variety of science topics throughout the school year, both at G.WIZ and in their classrooms. Hundreds of children visit G.WIZ with their families through field trips, Summer Science Camps and Vacation camps every year.

 We guarantee that your contribution will stay in our local community and will impact the experiences of our local children and their families.
